Orkut Apps are out! And Google is testing it for Estonia (instead of Brazil, India, or US).
In order to view these Apps, you need to change your country to 'Estonia' at your profile.
Now on your homepage it will show a link to App Directory, or you can go to orkut.com/AppDirectory.aspx
From App Directory, you can add any feature that you desire.
And it will be added to your profile. (e.g. iLike as shown below)
Currently Google is only displaying a grand total of 15 Apps. Hopefully they will add few (hundred) more apps soon! (You can also find more at sites like Osocial.net, but I have not tried that.)

This looks interesting :) I gave it a shot. However, things ain't as smooth as they are in Facebook. But facebook's advertisements are a turn down factor. I hope orkut does not add those adds, though some communites had them a while ago. Anyway, its good to see Google coming up with new things. I hope that apps are better shaped when they are launched elsewhere.
Oh! Yes, you have some interesting bunch of things here. I added you in reader, Google's of course. :)
